MATRIX MUSIC sells instrumental beats under two license types. A LICENSE ($24.99) is a non-exclusive license: you may use the beat under the license terms while others may also license the same beat. An EXCLUSIVE LICENSE ($249.99) transfers exclusive use to you and the beat is permanently removed from this site.

Every purchase includes a written license naming the beat, the tier and the date. The album 'Yes, This Is For You' is sold privately by enquiry, not leased.

A reference song is a finished record — written, produced, mixed and mastered by MATRIX MUSIC — presented with a reference vocal. That reference vocal is a guide track only. It demonstrates the melody, phrasing and arrangement and is not licensed to the buyer for release.

The buyer supplies their own vocal recordings, approximately ten minutes of clean takes. MATRIX MUSIC replaces the reference vocal with the buyer's vocal and delivers a finished master.

Each reference song goes to one buyer only. On sale it is removed from this site permanently and is not offered to any other artist. The buyer receives an exclusive license to commercially release the resulting recording as their own. MATRIX MUSIC wrote the composition and retains one hundred per cent of the songwriting and publishing in it; the buyer owns the recording they release. On beats, whether licensed or exclusive, MATRIX MUSIC retains fifty per cent of the songwriting and the buyer retains fifty per cent for their lyrics and topline. Buying an exclusive does not buy out that share. Full terms are in the signed license delivered with the purchase, which governs in the event of any conflict with this page.

To finish a reference song you send us clean vocal takes by link — your own Google Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer. They do not need to be of the song you are buying; we need your voice, not that performance.

What you receive. You receive the record as you heard it — the same composition, melody, phrasing and arrangement — carrying your voice in place of the reference vocal. The writing, melody, phrasing, production, mix and master are MATRIX MUSIC’s work and are the substance of what you are buying. Your finished vocal is produced from the takes you send using our own in-house process, which is proprietary and is not disclosed.

What you promise us. By sending vocals you confirm they are your own recordings of your own performance, that you have the right to send them, and that they do not contain anyone else’s recording, sample or performance you are not entitled to use. You confirm you are 18 or over, or that a parent or guardian is handling the purchase for you. If a claim is ever made against us because that was not true, you are responsible for it.

How your voice is worked on. Your voice may not be in the key of the record. If it is not, we move it into the key of the song, and we tune, time and shape it the way any produced vocal is shaped. A voice heard in a different key, or after that work, can sound unfamiliar to the person it belongs to — most people are not used to hearing themselves that way. That is a normal part of making a record, not a fault in it, and it is not a reason for a refund or a redo. You get one round of reasonable revision to the vocal treatment within seven days of delivery.

Software, including AI, and other companies' tools. That work is done with production software, some of it AI-assisted, and some steps run on services made by other companies. Those services handle and may store your audio on our instructions, under their own terms and privacy policies, and some of them may keep or use audio to run or improve their service. By sending your vocals you agree to your voice being processed and stored this way — and because your voice is personal, and in some places counts as biometric data, you tick a box saying so when you send it. We ourselves do not use your voice to build or train any voice model, we do not sell it, and we do not put it on any other release. The full terms are clauses 4.9 to 4.11 and 15 of the license.

What we promise you. You keep ownership of the recordings you send. We use them for one purpose — producing and delivering your finished record — and for nothing else of our own.

How long we keep them. We delete our working copy 90 days after we deliver your finished record, and sooner if you ask. Write to info@matrixmusic.net and we will delete it and confirm.

Promotion is opt-in. We only use your finished record in our own promotion if you tick the box when you send your vocals. If you do not tick it we do not post it, and you can withdraw permission at any time by writing to us.

Checkout, payment and file delivery are handled by our third-party store provider. Your card details are entered on their secure checkout, never on this site, and MATRIX MUSIC never sees or stores them.

Files and the license are delivered by the store immediately after a successful payment.

All sales are final. Every product on this site is a digital download delivered the moment payment clears, and a download cannot be returned. By completing checkout you confirm you have previewed the music, you agree to these terms and the license, and you waive any right to a refund, cancellation or chargeback for change of mind, non-use, or any reason other than a delivery failure on our side. If a file does not arrive or will not play, contact us within 7 days and we will re-deliver it. Every delivery is logged — time, file, and the connection it was sent to — and that record is used as evidence in any payment dispute.

Beats sold here are original MATRIX MUSIC productions. Some are finished with AI-assisted tools during production, then mixed and mastered before listing.

You may not resell, redistribute or re-license the beat itself, register it with a content-ID or streaming-royalty system in a way that blocks others (on license tiers), or claim authorship of the underlying production. Full usage limits are set out in the license delivered with your purchase.

The full Master License Agreement governs every purchase and is delivered with your files. Where it differs from this page, it prevails.

Last updated 3 September 2026. These terms, the license and the privacy policy together are the whole agreement between you and MATRIX MUSIC. They are governed by the law of the State of New Jersey; if we ever have a dispute, we each agree to try to sort it out in writing first, to bring any claim individually rather than as part of a class action, and to bring it within one year — the details, and the consumer rights that always stay with you, are in clauses 18 and 20 of the license. We keep a record of which version of these documents was in force when you bought, and of the boxes you ticked when you sent vocals.
